But, what are the ENnies?

In a nutshell, these are the Oscars of Tabletop Role-playing Games.

Each year, the ENnies judges identify the best TTRPGs and generate a categorized list for the global community to vote on. These awards stem from a long tradition that originated on the EN World website and has grown over the last 10 years, culminating in a ceremony held at Gen Con, they are one of the greatest honors that role-playing games can earn thanks to their work.

Categories span a wide scope of topics, from Best Adventure, Best Design, Best Gameplay Guides, TTRPG Podcast, Best Setting (where our work at Draco Studios with Eldritch Century is nominated), and many many more.

The reason there are so many categories is because ENnies want to include and recognize everyone involved in creating RPGs, and they know that the success of these amazing fantasy universes depends on tremendous team effort which includes writers, editors, editorial designers, game mechanic geniuses, publishing houses, illustrators and (for the last few years) content creators on different streaming platforms.

Despite the wide spectrum of nominations within the ENnies, it is not uncommon for those companies with the greatest budget to be the most recognized by the popular vote, since their work is more exposed to the public. However, it is a great honor and a pleasant surprise that our work at Draco Studios is nominated and competing in categories such as “Best Setting” with IPs as recognized as “Tal’Dorei”, written by one of the most popular Dungeon Masters of the moment, Matt Mercer, and with the enormous support of his public in “Critical Role”.

If you want to know all the nominees for the different categories, you can enter here.

Voting is open to the public until July 24th, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at Gen Con Indianapolis on August 5th.

To vote for Eldritch Century find the “Best Setting” category and place the number 1 in the voting box, and to help Draco Studios to win the “Fan Award for Best Publisher” place number 1 in the voting box.
