With Draco Studios focusing more on TTRPG and Wargames, and Detestable Games focusing more on Tabletop Games.

Since the inception of Draco Studios in 2017, our primary drive has been the creation of fictional worlds where stories can be told and role-playing or miniature wargames can be developed. In the years that followed, we published family board games in collaboration with Detestable Games, including titles such as Dodos Riding Dinos and Regroup! Chicken Army. In order to return to our original motivation, we have decided to transfer to Detestable Games the assets, staff, and marketing rights for the board games we have published together. This transition will involve a series of short-term changes.

This is great news for fans of our games in each category. By focusing on their own areas, both of us will be able to provide more attention and better support the communities from each product line.

Future releases and titles going out of print

Detestable Games will continue to empower the board game scene within and from Latin America to the rest of the world, including upcoming releases such as:

• Polaris from Chilean publisher Fractal Juegos, on Kickstarter during October 2024. 
• Monster Nursery designed by Manuel Garza in Mexico, on Kickstarter in 2025. 
• Party Panda Pirates with mini-games designed by a dozen Spanish-speaking designers and released in stores at the end of 2024. 
• Dodos Riding Dinos: First Race for its retail release in mid-2025.

With the transfer of commercialization rights, some titles will go out of print in their English and Spanish versions: 

• Dodos Riding Dinos (original edition)
• Dodos Riding Dinos: Dodo Dash (sequel) 
• War for Chicken Island 
• Kiwi Chow Down 

Discounts, Reservations, and Important Considerations

Starting today, the last copies of these games, along with their promotional figures and accessories, can be obtained through our online store, specialized retailers, and Amazon; this may be the final opportunity to purchase them.

Additionally, the remaining inventory of these games in their English version will be offered at a discounted price for distributors, retailers, and consumers, ranging from 20% to 30% off the usual price, or with the inclusion of free promotional figures.

Copies of these games purchased at a special price during the Kickstarter campaigns for Party Panda Pirates and Dodos Riding Dinos: First Race are already reserved to ensure delivery.

A Bright Future for Both Companies

We will remain open to future board game collaborations within our Dragonbond and Eldritch Century universes, with the most prominent prospect being Dragonbond Quest, the spiritual successor to Heroes of Terrinoth and Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game.
